1. In Taipei and New Taipei City, trash can only be thrown away using designated bags, which come with a waste disposal fee.
2. Trash must be handed directly to the trash truck, which arrives at specific times and locations.
3. Recyclables must be separated from general waste. This process is supervised by the trash and recycling truck collectors.
