Mid-Autumn Festival in Taiwan

🌕 Mid-Autumn Festival – 中秋節 (Zhōng qiū jié) – is one of Taiwan's most cherished holidays, celebrated on the 15th day of the lunar calendar's eighth month.

Traditionally, families gather to admire the full moon – 賞月(shǎngyuè) and enjoy moon cakes — 月餅 (yuèbǐng).

These days, many prefer to celebrate with outdoor barbecues — 烤肉 (kǎoròu) — or even by traveling — 旅行 (lǚxíng) — with loved ones.

Whether you lean towards tradition or modern ways, the essence of the festival is all about reunion — 團圓 (tuányuán) — with those who matter most! 🌟
